Mortimer Community College is a secondary school in South Tyneside that aims to provide a quality education that includes challenge, enjoyment and support both inside and outside of the classroom.

All things bright and beautiful

We initially completed a brand development that looked to maintain the key elements of the existing logo but allow more flexibility. Once this was agreed we set about supporting the school to update all elements of the identity from stationery through to building signage. The colourful logo graphic gave us unlimited possibilities to create distinctive and engaging communications and physical spaces. This was supplemented by a set of graphic shapes which give a dynamism to any application.

Brightening up the place

A key part of the project was to bring the new bright colours and energy from the brand into the physical spaces within the school building. This is an ongoing process but has already taken shape in the reception window area and many corridor and classroom areas. Positive brand messages and bright colours bring the brand to life on a daily basis.

Getting things moving

As well as printed and physical graphics, we have supported the school with animation, drone footage and photography services.
