We have just been awarded the CIM Northern Award for Public Sector Campaign for Gateshead College’s summer recruitment campaign.
Sponsored by The Marketing Trust and held last night at Crowne Plaza, Newcastle, the CIM Northern Awards celebrated the insight, creativity and success of the Northern marketing industry, the outstanding campaigns and the talent from across the region. There were 16 award categories, 12 of which were open to entries, and the evening was hosted by TV’s Andy Crane.
Diane Earles, Network Manager for CIM, said “Congratulations to The Works, who fought off strong competition in this category.”
Allison Thompson,Director and Principal Consultant at Ashmore Consulting, who judged this category, said “This was a bold, integrated and well executed creative campaign with quality video content and fast paced animation across multiple platforms.
“This resulted in increasing the awareness of the college as the top college in the region and 3rd nationally. It celebrated its new outstanding Ofsted status and maintained student numbers in a very competitive market, which had seen falling numbers in preceding years.”
