Earlier this year, our client Disruptive Innovators Network (DIN), in conjunction with partner organisations, launched a research project into smart homes technology in the social housing sector.

We supported DIN throughout the project, beginning with establishing a creative style to be used across project collateral that remained true to DIN’s recognisable brand. Part of the process was developing a set of illustrations, which were specifically created with the aims of the research in mind. Based on this, we then set up a range of assets including PowerPoint templates, mailer headers, adverts, infographics, and longer documents, such as the literature review and the almost 250 page report!

In addition to design work, we also supported with video editing. Interviews with the project’s main contributors were recorded over Zoom, which we edited and styled to fit the creative. We also produced an animated podcast video using an audio file that DIN created from the report using AI software.

The project also involved website support. This included setting up a landing page on the DIN website which outlined the research aims and signposted to where project updates could be found. We also added project updates and resources to the website’s ‘Insights’ page throughout the duration of the project. Then once the research neared publication, we transformed the landing page to create a place on the website where DIN could direct members looking for more information about the research findings.
