We’ve recently supported the North East Combined Authority (NECA) with their work on the North East Bus Improvement Service Plan. The plan outlines regionwide ambitions to make buses more attractive by making them an affordable and practical alternative to using private cars for more people, whilst also helping existing bus users to travel more frequently.
We were tasked with creating campaigns for the various ticketing offers available under this plan – particularly those under the age of 21 and over 22.
For those over 22, All Day Anywhere means just that – you can get on any bus around the region for a maximum price of £7.50 per day, with cheaper maximum fares if you’re only travelling in localised areas of the region.
We created iterations of a TV advert that promoted the region wide fare, as well as the localised fares, and included a diverse group of passengers travelling to various locations around the North East. This was backed up with vibrant out of home adverts, digital assets and radio ads.
