Karbon Homes is a housing association covering the North East of England and Yorkshire with over 34,000 homes across diverse communities. We have worked with the team at Karbon for several years, supporting with brand work, photography and videography, graphic design, and animation.
We caught up with Senior Account Manager, Amy, to find out more about The Works’ relationship with Karbon Homes.
How long have you been working with Karbon Homes?
I’ve been working with the Karbon team for about six years now. In that time, we’ve worked on brand development, day-to-day marketing and internal comms collateral, photography and videography projects, and everything in-between.
Has the Karbon brand changed much over the years?
The Karbon brand has really developed over the past six years, we’ve introduced new colours, refreshed their unique illustration style and created sub-brands that clearly sit within the Karbon group, but have their own look and feel too.
What do you like about working with Karbon?
I love working with the team – they see us as an extension of their in-house team and get us involved in projects from really early on, which means we all get the best out of each other – and ultimately, results in the work we do having a much bigger impact.
Are there any stand-out projects for you?
I loved seeing our concepts for Karbon’s annual staff get together come to life, and I get a real kick out of working on everything from signage to CGIs and floor plans for homes that we then eventually film people living in and enjoying.
The organisation has got some really exciting things coming up and I’m looking forward to being part of those too.
