Senior Account Manager, Amy, recently celebrated her 13th anniversary at The Works. Amy joined The Works fresh out of university and has become an integral part of the team, working with a wide range of clients, overseeing many of the goings on around the office, and supporting colleagues (plus, she always has a well-stocked snack drawer!)
We caught up with Amy to see how she’s found the last 13 years:
How have you found your time at The Works so far?
I honestly can’t believe I’ve been here for 13 years!
The Works was my first interview and job straight from graduating university, and now you could say I’m part of the furniture, so I guess that’s proof of how much I’ve loved my time here!
What do you like about working here?
The people. I’ve made genuine, life-long friendships with both members of the team and clients, and I think having that level of understanding and support for each other really helps when it comes to ‘getting the job done’.
Are there any standout moments or projects for you?
There’s so many! I don’t think I’ll ever lose that feeling I get when I see a piece of work, no matter how big or small, that I’ve played a part in on TV or out and about somewhere.
As a business, our 10th birthday celebrations will always stand-out for me. Playing my part in organising a ball for the rest of the team and all our clients, and people still talking about it nine years later, is something I’m really proud of!
Over the last three years I’ve been working with a team of newbies at The Works and seeing them grow and flourish at the various stages in their careers has been so fulfilling!
