It’s been a busy year at The Works!

We’ve travelled the length and breadth of the country for some inspiring and exciting shoots. We kicked off the new year with a trip to Cornwall for our client NICRE, capturing developments in the rural economy. For our newest house-builder client the Untypical Group, who own Tilia and Hopkins Homes, we’ve been to Exeter, Leicester and Bury St Edmunds, showcasing their incredible homes. A couple of months back, we travelled all the way to Dorset for our client, Canford Audio, and more recently we hopped on the ferry to Belfast for Lookers!

We’ve also been lucky enough to shoot for some of our fantastic clients closer to home, including some fabulous drone shots of the new Tyne and Wear Metros for Nexus. We had the pleasure of filming the North East Mayor, Kim McGuinness, explaining all about the benefits of the new fleet of trains, for the North East Combined Authority. And we’re finishing off the year nicely with shoots for local housing provider Gentoo and Newcastle University.

We’ve supported Nexus and BSIP in building on the successful campaigns we’ve developed together including Kids Go Free, their Tiny Toon initiative, and the bus campaigns, as well as new campaigns such as Pop Blue and promoting Pop cards to Gen Z customers, which we had so much fun creating with the Nexus team!

We spent approximately 3 solid months designing and developing annual reports for our amazing housing clients, and we also worked on some exciting projects with them including developing collateral for the annual Karbon Homes colleague conference, the Big Get Together, and launching Gentoo’s new mobile housing hub with some vibrant and eye-catching designs.

We supported Sunderland BID to brand and launch their new Seafront BID, expanding their services to positively impact even more businesses in Sunderland. We continued to build on existing campaigns such as Restaurant Week and Sunderland Food and Drink festival, and launched new campaigns such as Spend it in Sunderland, encouraging people to come and enjoy all that Sunderland has to offer.

The incredible Wag & Company was our chosen charity this year, a visiting dog charity made up of volunteers who take their dogs to visit homes of elderly people or hospitals to tackle loneliness. For Wag & Co we have delivered photography, videography and a social advertising campaign to recruit as many volunteers as possible.

Finally, we developed and launched a fantastic new brand and photography for local icon Tyne Tunnels, bringing their brand up to speed with the service they offer and positioning them as a modern key piece of the region.

These are just some of our highlights from the last year, and we’ve been so lucky to work with so many incredible clients and teams. We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone, and we can’t wait to see what 2026 holds!
