This summer, we have supported Nexus’ involvement in the ‘Tiny Toon’ pop-up village in Newcastle City Centre, which was organised by NE1 and runs throughout the summer holidays. The pop-up features a model Tyne & Wear Metro carriage, as well as other Newcastle landmarks.

We’ve created artwork for carriage cards, which features various campaign messages and local competition winner’s drawings, and the information board that is on the platform by the carriage.

We also created vibrant children activity packs, which further promote the Kids Go Free campaign, and are given to children visiting the pop-up. The packs include a range of activities, including a wordsearch, colouring pages, and a kid-friendly map highlighting places they can get to on the Metro, plus pull out stickers.
