We had lots to celebrate in September, with three members of the team having work anniversaries!
On 6th September, Junior Account Manager Amy A celebrated three years with us. Designer Emma celebrated a whopping 17 years as a member of the team on 10th September. Finally, our Creative Director Matt's eighth work-iversary was on 20th September.
We caught up with them to find out how they’ve found their time with us so far…
How have you found your time at The Works so far?
Amy A: The last three years have flown by, but I feel like I’ve been part of the team forever. I’ve learnt so much, both personally and professionally, and had a lot of fun along the way.
Emma: Groovy.
Matt: It’s been fun, rewarding and challenging in equal measure. I’ve worked with great people, for great clients and it’s never a dull moment!
What do you like about working here?
Amy A: Every single day is different – from what’s on my to-do list to the banter around the office. I get to work with some fantastic clients and an amazing team, who have been immensely supportive since day one (I promise I’m not being paid to say this!).
Emma: Being able to have a cuppa hot and in peace!
Matt: The variety of clients and projects. The people. The beautiful location. The sweets. Not necessarily in that order!
Are there any standout moments or projects for you?
Amy A: For me, it’s the recent brand refresh project we’ve completed for Disruptive Innovators Network. We revamped their brand, from a new imagery style to their website. It was a good opportunity for me to see a big project like this from start to finish.
Emma: The Works annual Christmas quiz is always a good time.
Matt: There’s been plenty, but I’d have to pick out the rebrand for Haines Watts and brand work for Lookers.
