Last month, our videographer Andy celebrated his third anniversary with us. Since joining The Works Andy has been part of some really exciting projects all over the UK and consumed many oat milk lattes! We caught up with him to see how he’s enjoyed his time at The Works…
How have you found your time at The Works so far?
“I’ve really enjoyed working at The Works for the three years I’ve been here so far. Working with a lot of clients in different industries has given me a lot of learning and growth opportunities as well as plenty of variety to keep me on my toes when it comes to improving and refining my skills as a Videographer/Photographer.”
What do you like about working here?
“I would say a mixture of the people, clients and work variety. We have a strong team of good people and a good mix of work and clients. I would say it’s one of the more unique jobs I’ve had in that I get a mixture of working in the office and on location. I travel all over the place and meet our clients to film and photograph a whole range of projects, it’s equal amounts fun and challenging, which makes it very rewarding for me, I love it.”
Are there any standout moments or projects for you?
“There’s loads, but I would have to say being involved in the creation of multiple TV adverts this year really stands out. Each TV ad project I’ve been involved in has presented the greatest challenges yet has given me loads of opportunities to learn. They’ve all been greatly rewarding and as a gearhead allowed me to use a bunch of new equipment. The more we do the more we become equipped on both an experience and gear front.”
