For Mother's Day this year, we worked with Bridges Shopping Centre to develop a unique and community-led campaign featuring three local women. Our aim was to bring a new perspective to the Mother’s Day campaign by including a competition element that would involve real people.

We designed the graphics and visuals for the campaign, and supported Bridges in putting a call out on social media for their customers to put themselves forward to be filmed purchasing gifts for their loved ones for the Mother’s Day video and collateral.

Bridges received lots of amazing applications from North East women, explaining all about why their Mam’s deserved to be treated to some special gifts. It cemented the idea that the Mother's Day campaign should be personable and relatable rather than using models. The three winners came in and spent the day filming with us in the center - something very unique and special to them. The result was a vibrant, fun video and set of reels that uses real local women, and showcases the retailers and the variety of gift options that the Bridges has to offer. We also got lots of photography on the day which was used for in-center print collateral, social media as well as OOH advertising.

This new and authentic approach to the Mother’s Day campaign has been really well received by both the client and customers alike!
