We’re looking for a Junior Artworker to join our busy studio team. You’ll be supporting our current team with the production and amending of artwork, retouching imagery, creating client mock-ups, and doing some simple animations for digital ads. You’ll work on a range of client accounts from motor retail, housing to holiday parks. See more of our work and who we do it for, here. 

Working knowledge of the main Creative Cloud apps (Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator) is essential. Ability to use Adobe After Effects and Google Web Designer is not essential, but a bonus. No industry experience is needed, just show us what you can do and how you can support our team. 

You’ll be based at our Chester-le-Street office, with the option to work one day a week from home, and you’ll finish at 3pm on a Friday!

Salary will be dependant on experience.

Due to a number of recent contract wins we are looking for a web developer to work on a wide range of projects. The role requires a dynamic, positive, self driven individual that is keen to learn and capable of working well on their own as well as within a larger project team. You should have a minimum 2 years experience in C#.

The Role

You will be an active member of a dynamic team involved in the full development lifecycle from requirements understanding through to testing and delivery. The work is varied and you will be working on new and existing client projects ranging from large scale content managed websites through to virtual learning platforms and membership systems. 

Essentials

• C# ASP.NET, MVC
• Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL
• HTML / CSS
• JavaScript (jQuery)
• Experience with large scale CMS preferably Umbraco, Sitecore, Episerver etc

Desirable

• Experience with Umbraco CMS
• .Net Core
• Microsoft Entity Framework
• HTML 5 / CSS 3
• SOAP / XML / JSON
• Front end development technologies i.e. native js, react, etc...
• Experience in Agile Methodologies
• Working knowledge of source control systems such as SVN / Git.

The Role

You will be actively involved in all stages of the design process and be responsible for transforming client requirements into hand crafted gorgeousness. Ideally but not essential you will have the skills to develop those designs into working HTML prototypes before being handed to our developers to be built in our CMS. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in creating beautiful, functional, responsive and accessible websites and have a strong design portfolio. Ideally the candidate will have experience in front end technologies such as html, css, javascript etc...

Essentials

• At least 1 years experience in designing / developing responsive websites
• Excellent understanding of UX & design methodologies
• Proficient in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, or other design / ux tool of your choice
• Ability to work independently, desire to learn and genuine interest in improving user experiences.

Desirable

• Experience of working in an agency environment
• Proficient in HTML / CSS / Javascript
• Experience in designing / developing within guidelines WCAG (AAA)
• Experience with CMS systems such as WordPress, Umbraco, Site Core, Epi Server, etc...
• Experience with designing for email marketing systems (Campaign Monitor, Mail Chimp, etc...)
