livin, Website refresh

livin's previous site was quickly becoming un-fit for purpose - the site wasn't optimised for mobile and this was key for the growing number of tenants that needed to access the site for key functions such as paying rent, checking their rent account balance or applying for employment courses and support. After having their current CMS for short space of time livin realised it wasn't as flexible enough as the content and functionality they required from their site quickly evolved.

We built a new, cleaner site using the Umbraco CMS giving livin a more modular solution allowing them to change and update the content of their site as needed. As part of the development we implemented a new property search function on the site helping tenants find suitable properties quicker. The CMS allowed livin employees to import properties directly from the Durham Key Options system making it easy to keep properties up to date. The flexibility of the CMS ensures the future development of the site and we continue to work with livin to continually improve and evolve their site.

From design to build, The Works provided support and expert advice on the latest technologies and trends. No idea was beyond Tim, he took our customers’ needs and future business plans into account and built a site that suits the needs of both and provides a base for us to further develop our digital services to customers. The website comes complete with an easy to use, adaptable content management system and I would not hesitate to recommend Tim and the team.
