Chosen charities

To celebrate our TENth birthday, we're giving a lot back. We're throwing a birthday ball, to thank those that have helped us along the way, whilst also raising money for our chosen charities.

Throughout the year we'll be challenging ourselves by competing in charity events and having a little fun by hosting office challenges, with all money raised going to a good cause.

We also have a collection in the office and will be encouraging anyone who visits to donate a little bit of change.

We've collectively decided on 3 charities, The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, Rainbow Trust Children's Charity and Under the Bridge, and at the end of the year the money we've raised will be split evenly between them all.

We have 12 months to raise £10,000 and hope you will all support us in every challenge we do.

A little about our chosen charities

The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation is a British cancer research charity which raises money to fund the early detection and treatment of cancer, and clinical trials of anti-cancer drugs. Based in the North East of England, the Foundation was launched in the name of Sir Bobby Robson.

Rainbow Trust Children's Charity supports families who have a child aged 0-18 years of age with a life threatening or terminal illness and need the bespoke support they offer. Their Family Support Workers provide a life line to these families and children.

Under the Bridge Charity Limited provides a range of services  to homeless and vulnerable men and women in Newcastle.  Services include; emergency accommodation to 31 homeless men and women, healthcare services to rough sleepers and those who are homeless and training and occupation in the restoration and recycling of donated items of wooden furniture

Money raised for Under the Bridge will contribute to the running of these vital services for those who find themselves in desperate need.
